Extended Care
Extended Care
Students enrolled at St. Rita Catholic School are eligible for our Extended Care Program. Extended Care is provided for use by parents whose working hours do not permit them to pick up their children at dismissal time. The regular school day is from 7:50 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. Students may be dropped off beginning at 7:30 a.m. with teachers and staff on duty to provide the necessary care needed until 7:45 a.m. when the first bell rings. If a child is dropped off at 7:45 a.m., s/he has until 7:50 a.m. to get to his/her classroom. Children arriving in their classroom after 7:50 a.m. are tardy to school. Students must be picked up in the afternoon by 3:30 p.m.
After School Care
The afternoon program begins at 3:30 p.m. on regular school days and 12:20 p.m. on early dismissal days. It ends at 6:00 p.m. Drop-ins are welcome. Since teachers and staff are not available after 3:30, which is when their school day ends, children still at school at that time will be taken to Extended Care. Families will be billed for this service.
Students attending Extended Care on early dismissal days need to bring a lunch from home; this should be a lunch that does not require a microwave to heat. Extended care is offered on all early dismissal days except the last day of the fall semester and the last day of school.
Tuition
Late Payment Fee: $25.00 late fee is assessed for late payments.
If a child's enrollment in the Extended Care Program changes during any month of the year, changes in FACTS will be made the following month.
