6th Grade

Sixth grade is an exciting year!  Students will learn the expectations of junior high, work with a new schedule as they move classroom to classroom, and build on organizational skills that come along with a locker.  Sixth grade visits Tandy Hills, a local outdoor classroom, and experiences a theatre production at Nolan Catholic High School. Students work together to assemble almsgiving bags to distribute to local homeless people during the Lenten season.  Sixth grade focuses on working as a community to build each other up in Christ.

English/Language Arts
Students read various texts in order to form an answer to the question, "How can I be heard?"  Students explore their own identities and learn how to be heard as a unique child of God through reading, writing, and public speaking.
