Early Childhood:  PreK3 thru Kindergarten

The Early Childhood program at St. Rita School is an all day program that strives to implement the following principles into their daily curriculum

 


 

is for PREPARE. Early Childhood education gives your child a head start for education.
is for READY. Ready to introduce young children to exciting learning experiences.
is for the high ENERGY in the 3s, 4s, and 5s. Young children are exposed to a varied physical development program.
is for a KIND and gentle environment.
is for INTEREST. The Early Childhood staff are bonded to the school and faith community.
is for the NICE afternoon NAPS. Young children need a quiet time during their school day.
is for DEAR parents. These parents have made St. Rita Catholic School their choice.
is for the EVER-changing curriculum. The students begin learning numbers and letters at 3 and 4 years old. At 5 years old, they are reading, writing, and exhibiting difficult math skills.
is for RELIGION. Religious education is the cornerstone of the St. Rita Catholic School education. The students experience Catholic faith through hands-on activities. Prayer begins and ends the day.
is for the GARDEN of knowledge. Young children thrive on many varied learning experiences.
is for ATTENDANCE. The students attend school 180 days beginning in August and ending in May.
is for the RULES. The St. Rita School community fosters self-discipline and keep lines of communication open. We work with parents and formulate individual plans for young children.
is for our fun TIMES. The students participate in Music, PE, Computer and Spanish times. They also have time for field trips, special spirit days, and times with their parents.
is for EATING. The students eat snacks, lunch, and special treats.
is for the NICE ideals. St. Rita is Catholic school and nurtures the students in their religion and daily life.
