2nd Grade

2nd Grade

Second grade is a special year.  The 2nd graders prepare and receive the sacraments of Penance and the Eucharist.  Researching animals, building their environments, and discovering them at the Ft. Worth Zoo on our annual field trip is exciting, as well as experiencing the arts at Bass Hall.  Reading is a priority, so we read, read, read, in our Accelerated Reader Program. Also at this age, we strive to grow in independence. Throughout the year we grow in spirituality, knowledge, and maturity.
